Terms of Service

Welcome to HistoKeep. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application (the “Services”). By accessing or using HistoKeep, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

You may use HistoKeep for personal and lawful purposes. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and not to misuse the Services (including uploading harmful, infringing, or illegal content).

To use certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading, you grant HistoKeep a license to host, store, distribute, and display that content to provide the Services. This license ends when you delete your content or account, subject to backups and legal obligations.

• Uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Transmitting malware, spam, or malicious scripts.
• Attempting unauthorized access to other users' accounts.
• Using the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages.

HistoKeep operates on a freemium-based model. Certain premium features may be available for a fee. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors and are subject to their terms. Refunds, if any, will be handled according to our refund policy which will be provided in the app.

• Users with an active subscription can access all premium features.
• If a user does not renew the subscription for 6 months, the account will become inactive.
• Once inactive, the user must re-subscribe to regain access to their stored data.
• Data will not be deleted after inactivity, but access remains locked until subscription is resumed.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or for legal reasons. You may delete your account at any time. After termination, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. HistoKeep shall not be held liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising from account inactivity due to subscription lapse, including restricted access to stored data during the inactive period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where HistoKeep is incorporated, unless otherwise required. Disputes may be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
